About Lola's

Hi, I’m Alex. Lola’s began in 2018 out of my kitchen making cakes for friends and family. Lola’s is named after my Grandma Lola, GL, as we call her. GL came to the United States from Ecuador and used baking as a way to learn English, feel at home in her new world, and to establish traditions. That’s the heart behind Lola’s; to feel at home while creating lasting traditions and memories. In the spring of 2019 I took the leap to quit my job and go full-time with the bakery. As you look around I hope you see the attention to detail, whimsy, and graceful styling of our designs. However, looks aren’t everything here, the flavors and textures of our desserts are the real star. Each cake, pie, cupcake, cakesicle, (etc.) is a bespoke design. I am so happy to have you here.
